The Wu Tang Clan. A legendary Rap Group consisting of nine members:RZA,GZA,ODB(R.I.P.),Masta Killa,Ghostface Killah,UGOD,Method Man,Raekwon,Inspectah Deck.
Hailing From New York, they brought a raw element into Hip Hop. There tracks contained no polished radio hooks, or commercial gain support. Instead providing Violent, Raw Punch lines through most of the tracks, layed over Adrenaline Rushing Beats. They made global success during the 90's hip hop's golden era, and still remain one of the top live performing groups in Hip Hop Today.

They are set to release their fifth album:8 Diagrams in Summer 2007. They are once again ready to beat on the "Rap" videos of modern today, that sounds more like pop and like commecial shit. They have a history of bashing posers such as puff daddy. Wu Tang is for the children. Wu Tang is the best. Wu Tang Clan Aint nothng to fuck with, is their track in which they display the raw talent that only they can provide. Wu Tang IS FOREVER. Bitches.

In a released statement, group leader RZA commented on the need for the Clan's return:

“ This is the perfect time for us to come back, the stars are aligned. It’s like when we first started with Steve. We put out real hip hop at a time when it was turning into pop or R&B. We brought the focus back to the music in its rawest form, without studio polish or radio hooks... People want something that gives them an adrenaline rush. We’re here to supply that fix. How could hip hop be dead if Wu-Tang is forever? We’re here to revive the spirit and the economics and bring in a wave of energy that has lately dissipated." ”

The RZA, the GZA, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Inspectah Deck, U-God , Ghostface Killah, Raekwon the Chef, and the Method Man. The Wu Tang Clan are a New York based rap group made up of the people listed above. Real hop hop, No money, cars, or hoes. They only made a couple albums, but they have all gone on to solo projects. The Ol' Dirty Bastard died earlier this year.

Simply the finest group of MCs ever to assemble as a group and one of the standout acts in hip-hop's golden era in the 90s.

Together they created what is possibly the greatest and realest hip-hop album of all-time in "Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)".

The Wu Tang Clan took hip-hop, musically, to the next level, with RZA creating timeless beats, GZA writing lyrics that put other rappers to shame and Raekwon pioneering a whole new sub-genre of hip-hop - mafioso rap (a style that Jay-Z would later imitate).

With the exception of U-God (... Sorry), every single member of the Clan was/is exceptionally gifted, as demonstrated by their solo projects - Liquid Swords, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, Tical, Supreme Clientele etc.
