An erection, usually of a male Naval Surface Warfare Officer (hence a SWO), caused by surface warfare related discussion or action. Most common in highly "swotivated" officers (read assholes). The female version of this condition is frequently referred to as "swet."

All that talk on naval surface fire support is giving me a huge swoner.
