Little bits left over. After carving a turkey the little tasty bits too small to serve. Eatenjoy while someone else is carving.

The small pieces of evergreen cut from a Christmas tree that can be used elsewhere in decorations.

We are from an old Milwaukee - German family. I assumed it was German or Yiddish.
"Get your hands out of there" my father said while carving the turkey. "I'm just eating the schnibbles", I replied.
