In either case, the person is most likely in need of attention and craves any type of compliments, even if the best he could achieve is "yeah, hes okay..." This person probably feels that he is physically fit and very strong (possibly even go by nicknames like "king kong") when reality is that he is obese and plump due to steroid abuse. In this case alone, pathetic only begins to define this.
