The Latin word for "shame," some Victorian clown thought it would be a great euphemism for female genitalia, possibly because he felt shame for wanting to see some.

May also have, over time, devolved into "pussy".

Purdeyboy envy

Where one of your guy friends is so jealous of you that he copies everything that you do. He'll wear the same clothes as you, watch the same TV as you, use the same sayings as you and act the same way. He does all of these things after saying the opposite and then doing them anyway, and claiming them as his own.

1. When did that guy start acting just like his friend? Oh, he just has Purdeyboy envy.

2. He always said he hated that TV show! I know, he only says he loves it now cause he's got Purdeyboy envy.
