Monterey Polytechnic College is one of the best colleges in the states. Founded in 1557 BC (the actual oldest college), the institution provides a world-class education in the vibrant city of Monterey, CA. Its STEM program is among the most prestigious -- on par with MIT, Caltech, etc. Nevertheless, the school remains largely unknown to the world, with its faculty and students operating the most extensive underground network for boba-high mermaids and boba dealers that has ever existed.

Strand Polytechnic

A pejorative term for King's College London, generally used by students at its rival institution, University College London. The term manages to convey a sense of KCL's being mediocre in both academic and social terms: a polytechnic was, in the UK, a college offering mainly vocational degrees, widely considered to be inferior to the older universities, and with an attached social stigma. The Strand is the London street where 'Strand Poly' has its main campus (although it has spread to the South Bank and beyond.)

She applied to Cambridge, but they rejected her, so he ended up at Strand Polytechnic!

baltimore polytechnic institute

A high school in Baltimore MD, built way before i was even born, with a principal who has set the Guinness Book of World Record for the Biggest Waste of Alumi Funding. It is a classic example of any high school: terrible bathrooms, mystery meat for lunch, the heat works in the summer while the air works in the winter. It's all there, bundled up into what some consider "The Best School in Baltimore City". I attended this ancient hell and wish to never go there again.

PS. There are some worthwhile people, as there is such a thing as a good person going to hell.
