A city full of the same old hoes and players. Middle schoolers & high schoolers talk about everybody, so there has never been peace. Everyone talks about everyone & if you 'talk' or fuck or do something sexual to someone even once, everyone will know the next day.
In Newnan, most of the time, all you hear is 'bloods' and 'crips' in peoples mouths, who claim they reppinn that gang. Also, people always saying 'westside' and 'eastside'. Also, alot of beef is on Twitter now, so if you follow people around here, you'll know who's fucking who, who's pregnant, who died, etc.
Teenagers usually hang out at Newnan games and the rollerskating place, but since you're not allowed to walk around at Newnan games nomo.. not alot of people go. Also, white girls act black & go with black boys. And black girls act white & go with white boys. (not always, but 60% of the time, that is what happens)
But overall, Newnan is a shitty/interesting town, and I advise anyone who is thinking about moving here, to please DON'T.

Known as the city of homes and considered one of the best cities in the south east by those who have experienced it. Home of Alan Jackson and inspiration for his song “Where I Come From.” Newnan has a diverse demographic made up of old money Newnanites and along with a really cool lowerclass as well. When most people refer to Newnan, they are referring to the downtown district which is made up primarily of beautiful historic homes, local businesses, parks, and 7A Newnan High School. The high school is a pretty big deal around the town, a lot of students and faculty are second and third generation Newnan students. The high school ranks exceptionally high in acedemics and athletics, and also provides an exceptional high school experience for many students. While a lot of people who live in Newnan would claim that there isn’t much to do, Newnan is actually a quite lovely town with a welcoming community, fine dining, and beautiful homes. Lots of filming is also done in Newnan. The Walking Dead, The Odd Life of Timothy Green, Mockiny Jay, The House With a Clock in its Walls, Zombieland, The Founder, Jumanji II, Insurgent, and Footloose are just a few of the many films and programs shot in Newnan. Many adolescents who were raised in Newnan do not speak fondly of the town. However those who have experienced life in and out of Newnan will attest to its pleasant quaintness and hospitality.
I am SO sad to graduate from Newnan. I love this town and I am nowhere close to ready to leave.
We moved to Newnan because of its incredible public school system.
