A "mother" who has also created a product or business while raising a family.

The word originated as the increase of mom owned and operated businesses started to boom in the last ten years when women who had previously been career professionals found themselves home raising a family.

She had been a marketing and sales professional for over fifteen years before getting married and having a family. She hated the styles and patterns of ugly children's car seats and felt limited in her options so she created a "car seat cover" using bold fabrics and fun prints and so was born a "momtreprenuer" product and business that went on to gain traction in the parenting goods marketplace.

Originated in Johnstown Pennsylvania. A mombeast is a mother, who doesn't take any crap from anyone.
