A species of wannabe emo/goth girls that you can easily find on TikTok, Discord, Reddit, Twitch and Instagram. They usually have multi colored hair, stripped shirts, overly blushed nose, urban outfitters/hot topic t-shirt and large eyeliner. They pose in the most corny poses like guns to their head and glorify mental illness and suicide. They use BLM as their "cutesy GoTh HeLLo kiTTy aesthetic" and put it in their bio but always end up being the most racist pieces of shits. You can also find them on discord servers being a pick me girl to a bunch of misogynistic boys with a fake uwu voice, but they don't care about being degraded by those idiotic incels for their gender because of their "care free, like one of the boys/not like other girls" demeanor.

A term that some men and women alike use to degrade other women on the internet who act or look a certain way that we think is too girly or fake. We assume they can't play video games and do everything for male attention. We instantly judge them based on their user names and profile pictures and claim it's just a joke when someone calls us out for using the term in a derogatory way. Or make claims such as "it just means internet girl" when in fact, it hasn't meant that in years.

The original definition of e-girl has been skewed. An e-girl is actually a girl who is a gamer, or uses her bodies to stream like amouranth or pink sparkles.
