To be laid off at a specified, future date.

Employee X goes to work at Z on 1/31/2014. Upon arriving at work, X finds out he/she will be laid off on 6/15/2014. X will continue to work at Z until 6/15/2014, at which point X will be laid off.

Y: "Hey, X! How was work at Z today?"
X: "Not great, Y. I got delayed off today."

delay no more

"Delay no more" comes from Cantonese foul words with similar sounds (Diu lay lo mo), which means "fuck your mother".

Seldom used seriously and speak in verbally. "Delay no more" appears in writing as joke among Hong Kong people. A fashion brand in Hong Kong produced T-shirts with "DelayNoMore" on it and advertised it on large billboards.

To express non-serious anger in writing, in chat room or on message board. Write "Delay no more" in reply.

Delta 88

In it's late 70's variation, possibly the greatest car ever made, especially for beginner drivers. it's built like a tank and can seat 16 without much difficulty. Options included 6-Way power seats and a 350ci motor option. Extremely charismatic car, and as of 2006 can be purchased for less then 500 dollars. The only competitor to this wonderful car is the Mercury Brougham, which is a street legal M1 Abrams.

NEWSFLASH: 1977 Oldsmobile Delta 88 wrecks into tuned Mitsubishi, Eclipse driver seriously injured. Delta drove away only to hit a Mack truck going 60. Reports confirm that trucker is in critical condition, Oldsmobile drove home.
