DFD

Abbreviation for 'Degree failing Distraction'.
Means any sort of distraction that causes a student not to be doing work for his or her degree. Overuse of DFD's will cause failure in ones studies and cause said person to drop out.

Person A: Man I found this awesome website that lets you dress up cats like dogs
Person B: Sounds like a DFD
Person A: Hell yeah!
*Person A drops out of university and makes own website dedicated to dressing up small animals

DFD is an acronym for drunk friend down; when one person in your group stops to take a break from walking to the next bar because they are too drunk to continue walking....

outside a club, walking to another with a bunch of drunken friends.....one stops, to sit on a bench

Used to refer to a track, or record, that makes people move on the dancefloor at an accelerated or wild pace and thus 'destroying' the construction of the floor

The DJ was playing DFD's until 6 am. Absolutely mental.
