Israeli Ceasefire

An agreement that you don't intend to keep, where nobody believes you will keep it, and then you quickly break it and return to the thing you promised to stop doing. All of the time you believe you are under the assumption of a good faith agreement and probably blaming the other party for breaking it.

Dave said that if she cleaned the living room, he'd clean the bathroom. Instead, he bombed the toilet and didn't flush. It was a total Israeli Ceasefire.
