A Norwegian black metal band that has a unique style all their own. Not only do they visually make a statement, but their music does as well. Dimmu were on Ozzfest 2004, which hopefully got their name out to a few more people in the United States. Vocalist Shagrath helps to make the band one of a kind.

Get the Dimmu Borgirmug. Dimmu Borgir is a Norwegian symphonic black metal band from Jessheim, formed in 1993. The name is derived from Dimmuborgir, a volcanic formation in Iceland, the name of which means "dark cities" or "dark castles/fortresses" in Icelandic, Faroese and Old Norse.

Get the dimmu borgirmug. dark fortress. Also a great black metal band. Most people think Cradle of Filth is great black metal. While good, COF is nowhere near as good as Dimmu Borgir. or any other excessively "neato" bands, such as Morbid Angel, Opeth, Children of Bodom, Dying Fetus, etc.
