Gabriela Rivas, born May 5, 2008, is an American figure skater. She is the 2024 World Junior champion, the 2023 Lombardia Trophy Silver Medalist, and the 2023 Junior Grand Prix Final champion.
Gabriela rose quickly through the junior ranks, earning international recognition for her strong technical ability, elegant skating style, and her trademark programs with jumps in the second half. She has proven herself against the best by winning major titles at every level of competition she has entered so far. As she rises to the senior level for the upcoming 2025-26 season, she has been eyed as a favorite to compete in big events such as the 2026 U.S Nationals, Grand Prix, and World Championships.

She’s the kindest and nicest person I’ve ever met. She might be intimidating at first, but once you know her or you guys share some similarities with each other, she’ll talk a lot, she’ll talk more than you expect her to be. But, sometimes, she’ll be the shyest person you’ve ever met too. Her energy goes up and down that fast, and that’s her. She claims herself as an introvert, but I’ll call her an ambivert with more introvert side.
She’s an over thinker. She’ll text me with bunch of overthinking messages and asking me if she’s this or she’s that, bla-bla-bla. But, everything that she says isn’t true; she’s not close to every bad things she thinks of herself like that. She’s the loveliest, sweetest, and most loved people. Only getting to know her name makes you want to love her deeply and hardly; you’ll be so grateful to have her in your life, because I am grateful to have her and know her as my closest friend.
She’s also very loving; she never fails to show me what love is and how she loves me and how I love her. She’s so sweet that she’ll send you those sweet messages just to light up your mood or some unfunny jokes that’ll make you laugh anyway just because how unfunny it is. She’s my one call away and she’ll always on my mind whenever I’m in trouble. She’s so cute and she’s so My Melody coded.
