An illness whereby you notice planes flying by, thereby making it impossible to concentrate on any one thing without being interrupted. It is very contagious, so if you start pointing planes out to your friends, they will eventually start noticing them a lot more on their own.

Risk of catching it allegedly increases with increased exposure to asmr.

I've caught planengitis, I couldn't focus for more than five minutes before noticing a plane.
