When driving, the preoccupying thing (ie:accident, nice car, hot chick or guy) on the side of the road that causes one to swerve in to the next lane while driving.

The girl on the side of the road bending over the hood of her car caused him to spockswerve in to the next lane resulting in a five car pile-up.

Shockscare

A Shockscare is the basic wimp out scare used in horror movies and haunted houses, so as to not actually work for a scare. Typically this scare will cause audience members to shriek and/or jump.

1.A clown pops out of nowhere.

2.A zombie popping out of nowhere.

I.e. "That movie wasn't scary at all just a bunch of shockscares after another!"
