Techno Punk 

A "Techno Punk" is someone who:
-Enjoys techno
-Enjoys punk
-Has or has had odd-coloured hair
-Is also a Mindless Self Indulgence fan
-Likes neon
-Loves clubs

Kind of like a club kid without the Michael Alig, the psycho clothes, and the hardcore drug use.

Also known as an "Electro Kid".

Much like a Technemo.

Techno Punk #1: I like bands like Mindless Self Indulgence, Alexisonfire, SMB, My Chemical Romance, Retard-O-Bot, Underoath, Vyncent Flaw, and He Is Legend! And I just died my previously pink hair green!

pop punk 

Examples:

- Blink 182 (their old stuff is punk, everything from their first album onwards is crap)
- New Found Glory
- Good Charlotte
- Simple Plan
- All-American Rejects

among many others.
People call bands like these "pop punk", when in reality, they're mostly just pop with a very slight punk-like sound.

Also, some would call Avril Lavigne pop punk, when in reality, she doesn't even remotely sound like punk at all. She does, however, "dress punk", to the annoyance of those who do listen to punk.

True "pop punk" is actually punk with a slightly softer sound and more melody, such as Millencolin, Dillinger Four, etc, NOT Blink 182...

Vest Punk 

"Hardcore" punk kids who sew safety pins of various punk bands on a denim vest. They are usually pussies but will glare at you anyways.

Most Vest Punks listen to the Adicts and get beat up by skinheads.

I was kind of hanging out. I'm leaving in a few"... Then all you can say to that is - "What a little punk!".
