so much regret hidden in the plain view of past decisions. not that regret comes naturally, but we make mistakes and, according to some fucked up conscience law and depending on your level of understanding, almost always experience regret, remorse, pain.
never would i have expected scales falling off my eyes so brutally. i must leave as quickly as possible, there will not be any other way.

Stony Plain

place. Canadian "city" solidly cemented to Edmonton's rock-strewn flank . Devoid of pretensions, quarries and night life, Stony Plain has been poised to be "the next big thing" in Upper West Central Alberta for over 125 years. Churches, bingo halls, outdoor tractor pulls, indoor gravel assessment bazaars, and a squeegee factory slated for opening in 2014, are all bringing unwanted attention to the area which is quietly trying to slide into the yielding topsoil.

Hockey, soccer and table tennis are all sports watched on TV in Stony Plain where HBO is just a dream.

Plain City

A small town located West of Columbus, right beside Hilliard and Dublin. It's known for the homestyle Amish cooking of the Der Dutchman. Only the residents know what really goes on in the kitchen though... And it's not Amish cooking. Jonathan Alder, the local high school, isn't known for much except a great football team and girls basketball (aka Lauren Prochaska). The town was recently upgraded with the addition of a bypass that added another stoplight; bringing the total to two and a half. Plain City is full of townies, hicks, and farmers, and country songs describe life. "Ticks" by Brad Paisley? Yessir, my girl and I have done that. "Hicktown" by Jason Aldean? Yup, that's where I'm from. Yes, people have tried painting the water tower.

If you're from Plain City, no one will know where it is, so don't bother trying to explain.

1. "Plain City? Oh, I know where that is! Der Dutchman, right?"

2. "Wait, you mean your town used to only have one stop light?"

3. "You have a sweet football team."

tellico plains

A place of enchanted beauty which holds plenty of over confident backwoods bible thumpers who just don't give a fuck about what you think and will bash you into the ground. Home to a numerous amount of rednecks as well. Tellico is a double edged sword as it has much to do but almost only if you are an adventurous outdoors type.

Man that majestic picture perfect spot we just went through must have been Tellico Plains. Doesn't get more old school and old time as Tellico Plains.

Plain White T's

An awesome band from Chicago. They have some really great songs but it all went down the toilet with the song "Hey There Delilah." Don't get me wrong, its a beautiful song but with that one song a bunch of burn-outs started claiming the loved the Plain White T's even though that's the only song they've ever heard.

Burn-out: I love the Plain White T's!
PWT's fan: What's your favorite song from "Every Second Counts?"
Burn-out: "Hey There Delilah" duh!!!
PWT's: Have you heard "Come Back to Me?"
Burn-out: No
PWT's fan: How about "Figure it Out?"
Burn-out: No...
PWT's fan: "Friends don't let friends dial drunk?"
Burn-out: Uhhh... what???
PWT's fan: Exactly. You don't even know who the Plain White T's are so shut the fuck up bitch!!!

plain white t's

Some flaccid acousticrap band that's huge on college and mainstream radio. A bunch of unoriginal bleating about how much some dude either loves/misses some stupid sorority chick who's probably blowing some guy named Trey at a kegger. Listening to them conjures up a perfect image of a guy in tight pants strumming his acoustic guitar in the common area of the dorm trying to score some freshman snatch. Makes Jack Johnson look like Dave Mustaine.

-Hey, have you ever heard of Plain White T's?
-Yeah, they're that band with unintentional improper grammar in their name that isn't as good as Neil Young, Sonic Youth, the Adolescents, or most anything else in the history of recorded music.
