going troppo

'Going Troppo' is an exclusively Australian slang term for 'going crazy'. The popular understanding about it's origin is that it comes from stories of the tropical heat in the northern parts of Australia driving people crazy.

What's Stevo doing? He must be going troppo!

NB: 'Stevo' is pronounced 'Steve-O' it's an Aussie nick-name for someone called steven/stephen.

Gina

Ginas are beautiful and usually short, most times they have brown/black hair and are extremely wise. They love sharing their knowledge with other people and giving them advice even if they don't ask. It might take them a while to find themselves but once they do they let the whole world know that they don't care about what others think. They always see the problem even when you might not. They love children but they also like some peace and quite. They're hard working and fun to be around but they have to remind themselves to take a break every once in a while. They have many friends and are really laid back. They love to please other people but they need to focus on themselves every once and a while. They can get through anything life throws at them and still help other people even when their going through their own stuff. They love to rant about their problems to other people to get it out. Gina's are awesome.

originally coined from a series of real life shootings in the postal service, it now usually means that someone is about to go nuts or off the deep end. the reason for going postal is usually trivial. also, means person on psychiatric meds that is off their pills.

after finding her computer's wallpaper had been changed again, Jane went postal on her fellow workers.
