The feeling of Excitement, but due to the latest Urban definition, it is apparently Homosexual and represents two men sexually attracted to each other
Is highly overused in schools and is a term now referencing to "Bullshit" "Fake" "Stupid" and well, gay.
It's generally yelled at by someone who is very desperate for a comeback and will be spat out as "WELL YOUR GAY", "Well that's gay", "At least I'm not gay".
It's constantly changing and will, at a certain time, change uses yet again. If you are reading this a couple of years ahead of 2012, then it's probably already changed. For this reason I prefer not to use it as it is for men (and possibly women) as a term used only when ones vocabulary is at a low.

An abbreviation for anything involving a person being attracted to another person of the same gender. This goes for both males and females. 'Gay' could describe homosexuals, bisexuals, or pansexuals.
In old English, 'gay' was synonymous with 'happy' and 'jovial'.
The word 'gay' is sometimes used inaccurately as slang for being transgender, or just used as an insult. Some people consider it as a swear word, which in my opinion, is rather ridiculous.

"Is it bad that most of my ships are gay?"
"No, gay ships are yay ships."
"But as for Lucy, she was always gay and golden-haired, and all princes in those parts desired her to be their Queen, and her own people called her Queen Lucy the Valiant." -from The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
If 'gay' is a swear word, then wouldn't 'straight' be, too?
