The term used on TikTok is used to refer to living a moment in the past that brung you comfort or made you happy, the lamp starts looking weird is sort of like your living a dream of a time when everything seemed so simple but, suddenly you realize something is off, picture your in a time that made you happy, the lamp will always be visible in the back of this fantasy, sort of just flickering and in a way you suddenly know this isn’t real. The lamp looking weird is sort of a figure of speech telling you this is all fake, your dreaming this, life will never be like this again, explaining why people use the the term in sad contexts, the sound used in these videos is “White Ferrari” By Frank Ocean.

When I wake up to them telling me how proud they are of me but, the lamp starts to look weird..

Situation: someone has on out of style/season clothing and/Or jacked weave or hairstyle.. shoes, bag etc. You want to be nice but not lie.

"Haven't seen you in a while, look at you, looking like you're looking"

"You look good, over there looking like you're looking" (possible)
