a mental phenomenon that occurs after somebody takes a shit. following the shit, the person forgets important tasks they were planning to complete before the shit.

I hate the shitting effect -- it's why I got detention for forgetting my homework.

in a classroom setting, a shit clock is someone who does not take interest in the class.
