When somebody had a serious, big cold and they can't stop sneezing, and they spread all over the world.
Person 1: AAAA, I CAN'T STOP SNEEZING!
Person 2: Great, I got a cold, because of you!
Person 3: Me too!
Person 1: I think I have Sick Syndrome. Did my sickness spread all over the world?
Person 2: I think it did.

When you’re sick, and the icky feeling gets so bad that you can hardly move. Usually the result of a fever.
A: Dude, did you get that Lego set done?
B: No, I got halfway through and my fever hit me with the sick-stick.
