A "person", usually in their early teens, who think that the fact that their parents refuse to buy them a Corvette is the end of the world, and therefore their life is spiraling down a large black hole of deceit and sorrow. The want to express their individuality, but really they are just expressing the individuality of a large group, pretty much making them the very conformists they think they are fighting. Ironic.
So an emo kid tried insulting me today. When I pointed out that he automatically loses any argument he enters due to the fact that he's emo, he ran away crying. Go figure...

Emo's are people who have a crap fashion sense with there tight jeans/trowsers and there rubbish converse shoes and who also listen to shit music

Either...
1.Someone who is very sensitive, therefore more easily upset than normal
You can't rarely tell if someone is emo or not, only close reletives or themselves, some emos are also easily angered, disgusted or depressed(which is where the myth about all emos being depressed came from.)
OR.
2.Someone who is so easily upset that they are always so, often wear drab clothes to express the fact that they are sad, though, contary to popular belief not usually goth clothes.
There should be another name for them, since nowdays, if someone hears the word 'emo' they instantly think of this definition.

Angst-ridden hormonal teenagers who cannot control their moodswings.
They typically like to 'express themselves' with black skinny jeans, black ripped band tshirts, black eye makeup, black whatever...
There is not much expression to be made, however, as half of all decent, middle-class kids from the South of England are dressing exactly the same.

A well-off, well-adjusted, perfectly happy teen will throw themselves into a frenzy of dodgy rock music, tight clothing and wannabe guitar riffs in order to show how hard their small insignificant lives really are and prove to their friends how 'emo' they are.

An emo is a person who wears all back (black skinny jeans, black hoodies, vans shoes, any vans clothing really), listens to sad and edgy music, artists like Lil Peep, xxxtentacion, The Neighborhood, Arctic Monkeys, Suicide Boys, Melanie Martinez, Billie Eilish, Lana Del Ray and the list goes on.
emo’s use common sentences in their daily life such as “I wanna die”, “I hate school”, “Fuck you” and make fun of their friends.

Weemo:I'm not even emo in my tight jeans, converses and strange angular haircut.
Emo: I hate emos with their cut off jeans, angular hair and strange graphical teeshirts.
ExEmo: Now i'm not emo anymore,i really do want to die because that shit was embarrasing.

A fusion genre combining the sounds of parent music genres, Emo Music and Hip Hop.
Popularized in the mid-2010's with acts such as Lil Peep, Lil Uzi Vert, Trippie Redd, nothing, nowhere and XXXTentacion. The music platform known as SoundCloud built this genre up from what it was prior.
In the mid-2000's, the sound of Emo Rap was first inspired from projects from prominent hip-hop artists such as Kanye West, Kid Cudi and Drake on projects '808's and Heartbreaks', 'Man on the Moon: The End of Day' and 'So Far Gone' respectively. The sounds implemented in this genre of music refer back to conscious rap and indie rock instrumentals with a distorted trap vibe. Pop Punk and Emo songs are heavily sampled. Bands such as Brand New and Underoath are usually regularly sampled.
Lil Peep, who tragically died on November 15th, 2017 from a drug overdose was recognized as the pioneer or 'Kurt Cobain' of Emo-Rap which refers to the topics he discussed in his songs. Usually, being suicidal thoughts, depression, breakups and drug usage. Which, also are the prominent discussions in this genre as a whole.
Another prominent artist of the genre, XXXTentacion, was murdered on June 18th, 2018. He was considered also to be one of the main figureheads of the genre as a whole. As he brought rage, depression and overall unique sounds to his music that were influenced by rock, punk and hardcore music.

Emo rap is the new hip buzzworthy term to describe a movement of SoundCloud rappers who mix trap beats, indie rock samples, and open sentimentality. Emo bands from the ’90s through the aughts seem to be a touchstone for these MCs because of their diary-like emotional content and knack for melody.
