A noob is short for Newbie, it typically is the title given to a player new at any video game. Often times this title is misused as a stupid person in games because they don't quite know the basics of the game just yet.

Get the noobmug. A degoratory term used in MOBA-games (originally in DotA Allstars) to describe a hero that is easy to play and typically overpowered at the same time.
Often used to emphasize that someone is not actually good at the game, but is just a noob playing an easy hero, which might be the only reason why that person is performing well.
