sure now

An Irish proverb said in situations when an appropriate reply to a sentence is difficult given the nature of the subject. Particularly relevant in situations where the recipient of the sentence feels indifferent and/or doesn't care on the subject matter of the sentence.

Deviations of "sure now", include "sure look" and "sure look sure now sure"

"Hey man, how did the day go?"
"Well....sure now!"

"I'm really stuck for cash dude, could I borrow a lend off you?"
"Sure now.."

When something is sold as a 'new and improved' model when in reality nothing's really changed. In reference to Mr. Smithers of The Simpsons going crazy over the 'new Malibu Stacy' doll when the only difference is that she now has a hat!
