I.e. "Help me save my dog," "I need money for gas," "My child is in the hospital"

Random Stranger: "My child is in the hospital, please help me raise money for him/her"
Me: "Have any pictures of this child?"
Stranger: "Not on me"
Me: "Right... I'm not one for blind charity"

British Charity

'British Charity' - Something that is unsolicited and claimed to be done charitably for the benefit of someone else, but is actually done forcefully with a self-serving motive for one's own good. A sham born out of a need to feel self-righteous to ease one's conscience even while performing an act of pure greed and self-interest at the cost of another. And an act that causes one to feel smug and proud for paying a penny in the process of stealing a pound from another person.

George: Did Britain truly make India free because its leaders went through an inner spiritual awakenning that colonialism was unrighteous?

Ram: No it was a case of British Charity!

Referring to doing something sexual with someone that isn't actually intercourse without wanting to mention that they did something sexual with them because of whoever the audience consists of.

Person A: How'd it go yesterday with that guy?
Person B: It went really well, we got back to my place and-
Person C: *walks in*

Person B: ended up boxing a horse for charity on my couch.

A term used to define throwing a round in Call of Duty Search and Destroy to emphasize that the player(s) lost the round on purpose to make the opponents feel better or disregard their lack of skill.

Them (1-5): “Y’all fucking suck how did you lose that?”

You (5-1): “Charity round!”

Charity Replies

When on an online dating site or app, Charity Replies are when you start chatting with someone who otherwise does not find you attractive, but for some reason continues to reply feeling some sort of obligation. This usually results in ghosting or the friendly fade.

I was talking to this guy on POF. He obviously had no interest in me and was just giving me charity replies cause they were always just one word answers and he wouldn't reply for hours at a time. I can see when he's been online! Then one day he just kind of vanished...
