Mall goth

A hateful word full of prejudice and stereotypes, used against younger people, who are yet not really achieve the aesthetic of goth and know its own kind of music. These batlings are mostly newcomers to the alternative subcultures, cannot really divide their fashion styles, and usually buy stuff from cheaper mall stores. Instead of educating and giving help, this word is most likely responsible for turning off these young people from finding their own true path in the alternative scene.

EMP-Goth

First Defined on Urban Dictionary by ZA2K, in this description:
Someone who identifies as EMP-Goth (Electronic Metal Punk Goth) is part of an amalgamation of Alternative subcultures, usually collected by being a part of them each in passing. Resultimg typically in an Electronic Metalhead, who Fights for Social and Environmental Justice and Equality while embracing the dark aesthetic, fashion, and nihilism of their simultaneous Goth identity.

An EMP-Goth dreads existence, but recognizes that nothing makes existence even more shitty than oppression. Therefore fights actively against the oppression of others, rocking all black, and blaring cutting edge Metal music.

The reason it is abbreviated as EMP-Goth is because of the symbolism of (you guessed it) EMPs, or Electromagnetic Pulses. A blackout technology.

It's a symbol for both resistance to oppressors In a technology and internet centric era of society, and being a part of &/or standing up for the "blacked-out" or Disenfranchised intersections of society.

EMP-Goths genre was built due to gatekeeping from it's parent genres

The only ways you can be gatekept from being EMP-Goth is if you're: Elitest, Racist, Homophobic, Transphobic, Nazi, or otherwise a piece of shit that makes the fight for equality more difficult for those of us who just want to exist safely and happily.

Just like Punk. "It's for everyone, unless you're not for everyone"
Did you hear the E-Metal that EMP-Goth, in the platform boots, with the deathhawk, was playing at the BLM Protest?
