When a person (mostly men) projects an emotional outbreak (considered to be crying) by thus being exposed to a fictional persons (majority in anime) sorrowful path towards the road to happiness. It also variates from how/where/when the word is used to describe the emotion.

Also considered to be "letting the Bitch out."
