'Sentence diagramming' is the worst nightmare for some people in La Salle College in Hong Kong have even dreamed of. The teacher would ask them to diagram as much sentences as she can think of(using the Reed-Kellogg system), and helped the word to become a slang term in 3D.
1.

Miss C, 'Diagram it. I'm sure no one would get this sentence diagramming correct. And also the sentence I am speaking.'

Can you think of an even worst situation other than receiving a detention from 8745 and hear him saying shit? Sentence diagramming.

We, students of Class 3D, haven't started the tedious Progress Now yet and feel nervous, but are happy with the out-of-the-syllabus sentence diagramming because we will have more time to do Putonghia homework.

It can be used when your teacher does something 'friendly' and ''understanding', like giving no homework in the first term so that she can procrastinate until the last minute.
The origin of this word is when an English teacher in La Salle College in Hong Kong continuously teaches her students to diagram every sentence we have encountered and spoke to make her a righteous and kind teacher that teaches people by heart, and is totally out of the school exam syllabus when teaching.
However, actually the teacher is very good tbh with professional knowledge. Yet her action is a typical horrible teacher act...
