When you play a game for so long that it isn't as appealing as it used to be when you first started, and you yearn for that past claiming "It was better" when really, you want to relive the feeling of discovery.

nostalgic memory

My personal Time machine allows me to go backward in time for the purpose of enjoying the good experiences of my past lived life.

Not to be confused with critical memory the time machine that searches out the bad experiences in hopes of finding someone to hold responsible.

I remember when sex was safe and hang gliding was dangerous but that is a wonderful nostalgic memory.
