Production began in 1994 replacing the Audi 100 the S6 got a major update in 2007 when the manufacturer put in its 5.0 V10 that is found in the Lamborghini Gallardo The next major update would be in 2013 with the C7 generation S6 replacing the V10 with a 4.4 Twin Turbo V8 powered by Audi’s quattro AWD system the S6 went from 0-60 4.1 seconds 2021 the S6 gets a facelift to look like the other Audi models for the North American market the Wagon variant (Avant) RS6 was introduced to the American market. The A6/S6/RS6 are still in production.
