Witnesses claim the board itself tried to resign out of sheer embarrassment.

armenian genocide

a mass deportation (the intent) which resulted in 100-300k deaths (not 1.5 million as that even exceeds the population of armenians at the time).

it is NOT a genocide as a genocide is defined as "the deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group."

the INTENT was the DEPORT. not kill. doesn't matter what the end result was. the INTENT is the most important part when defining this "genocide".

the turkish government offered to collaborate with armenia on the " armenian genocide" and asked them to reveal hidden infomation about the "armenain genocide" that armenia retains which contains detailed accounts of what actually happened. armenia denied. hmmmm i wonder why.
