The letter Z written as a symbol is equivalent to thoughtless idea, poor preparation, useless execution, lousy quality and/or generally just embarrassing, while the performer himself says that everything is perfect, the work goes as planned or say that this is the people wishes. Everyone disagrees, but the work continues.
The spectator can express their opinion by marking the work with the letter Z.

Gen Z stare

A label given by Millennials and older generations to the incredulous look that Gen Z people give them when they are asked a question that is so ridiculous that they don’t know how to reply. They go into a state of disbelief, a look that says “are you serious?” Before they either reply with the answer they assumed obvious or just simply shoo the person away if there’s nothing they can do.

Older people call this rude or stupid behavior, but honestly. It’s usually warrented

Millennial or older person: can I have the strawberry banana milkshake?
Gen z: sure
M: I’m allergic to bananas, by the way
Z: so… would you rather have a strawberry milkshake? Since you’re allergic
M:no, I want a strawberry banana milkshake!

Momoiro Clover Z

A 4 member Japanese pop group. Originally under the name of Momoiro Clover but changed due to the departure of Akarin Hayami (the blue member of the group). The group Originally consisted of 9 members, Sumire Fujishiro, Manami Ikura, Yukina Kashiwa (later a member of Nogizaka46), Tsukina Takai (later a member of SKE48), Miyū Wagawa, Runa Yumikawa, Akarin Hayami and some of the Momoiro clover members that are still in the group today. Momoka Ariyasu joined after their first single (Momoiro Punch). Momoiro Clover Z's major debut was in 2010 (the group was Momoiro Clover at the time) under Stardust Digital and Universal Music. Momoiro clover's way of promoting the group before they had their major debut was to film a horror movie (Shirome) with all of the members in it. The group had 6 girls in different colours. Kanako Momota (red), Akarin Hayami (blue), Reni Takagi (purple), Ayaka Sasaki (pink), Momoka Ariyasu (green) and Shiori Tamai (yellow).

Girl: "Hey, what's your favorite group?"

Boy: "Oh, mine? Mine is definitely Momoiro Clover Z, I love their voices and energy!"
