Loughman's Law

A term referring to the amount of advertisement that any one object or media receives in an inverse proportion, also known as the Law of Inverse Advertising. Where in due to budget constraints of any project the amount spent to advertise must ultimately take away from the quality of the product itself. This can be seen mainly in film and television.
"Have you seen the that trailer for the new Sci-Fi movie? It looks good and I see ads for ever everywhere."
-"Im calling Loughman's law."

Roberts' Law

The law that states that even if you don't do anything to a computer, it will still mysteriously find a way to mess up.
My computer stopped working, I haven't even messed with anything on it. I'm thinking Roberts' Law took effect.

Hazen's Law

Similar to Godwin's law, Hazen's law states that, when someone disagrees with a political or economic ideology and they automatically claim that ideology is zionist influenced, their opinion is no longer valid.
Person 1: I think these different people should stop killing each other because it is wrong.

Person 2: Thats just the sort of talk i expect from a zionist sheep.

Person 1: My comment had nothing to do with zionism whatsoever, therefore i am forced to invoke Hazen's Law and ignore you from now on.

Surfy's Law

A law with corollaries outlining the Murphy's Law of Surfing:

When you are paddling out to the take off zone, there will inevitably be a huge set of waves that breaks on your head and insures that you will be exhausted and demoralized.

First Corollary of Surfy's Law: When you finally make it to the line-up after paddling through a set, there will be no sets of waves breaking that you can catch or ride.

Second Corollary of Surfy's Law: When you do take off on a wave and ride it to the inside, there will be another set that arises to impede your paddle out to the line-up.
"Dude, I got worked by six mackin' double overhead freight trains on my paddle out. It was like total enforcement of Surfy's Law!"

"Can we please stop mentioning Steve Jobs' name everything Apple does something we don't like? Jobwin's law is really pissing me off right now."
