A state of extreme resource depletion, often accompanied by vocal distress. Originating from a Valorant player (Sobek) known for perpetually running out of Viper's toxic abilities, "Sobek's Toxins" now describes any situation where someone is critically low on essential supplies, energy, or patience. Can also refer to the act of dramatically announcing this depletion.

Normalization of Toxic Behavior

The process by which harmful actions—harassment, clique exclusion, gangbaiting, banlighting—become routine, expected, and even praised within online communities. When toxicity is normalized, new members learn that this is “just how things work”; targets are blamed for not adapting; and perpetrators see themselves as simply following community norms. Normalization happens gradually: each act is dismissed as minor or justified until the cumulative culture becomes one of cruelty. It is the mechanism that turns individual incidents into systemic abuse.

Example: “New members quickly learned that if you questioned a mod, you’d be called every name in the book. Normalization of toxic behavior: making abuse the price of participation.”

It's not about winning, It's About Being The Most Toxic

"It's not about winning, it's about being the most toxic" is a team motto started by four teammates in the Call of Duty clan TOX1C, who frequented Warzone lobbies together.

The motto went viral on Call Of Duty News on July 20th, 2022.

Traditionally the phrase is split into two parts when a "toxic" play is made.

Traditionally it is used to acknowledge a players toxic play:

Teammate one: *Uses grenade launcher*
Teammate two: "Its not about winning"

Teammate one: "Its about being the most toxic"

Alternatively, it can be said in unison, when plays are made in unison:
All teammates: *riot shields*
All teammates: "It's not about winning, it's about being the most toxic!"
