Get the Awesome-Saucingmug. A term that, before the 1980s, meant something that inspired awe. During and after the 80's, meant cool, wonderful, sexy, great, etc.
Prior to 1980s: "That was an awesome sunset." Or, "Our God is an awesome God. "
During and after the 1980s (though briefly replaced by gnarly, epic, etc): "That is an awesome outfit you've got on!" Or, "Where did you get those awesome shoes? "
