Alternative

An alternate learning program for students at Dedham High school. All Alternative classes are stuck in the E wing, which has no windows, except for mr. Hughes's room. Kids are in Alternative for many different reasons. Either you have missed alot of school and are far behind, your are just horrible at school, you have trouble learning in regular schooling enviorment, so basically if your arnt "perfect" at school. Alternative is nicknamed ALT, and use to be a pretty chill place. Now it sucks because there is a new director that no one seems to care for. Alot of mainstream students want to be in ALT because they think its the easy way out of school, when really its hell on earth

Speling that is rong because you feal like speing rong. Also is the saim as progresive speling.

The extablishment tels me to spel rite, so I use alternitive spelling to piss them off.

Alternative Rock

A catch-all phrase categorizing whatever music dorky high school kids listen to despite the fact that alternative rock can be quite varied musically. For example, the Red Hot Chili Peppers sound much different than Disturbed, yet both may be considered alternative rock. On the other hand, Disturbed sounds exactly like 3 Days Grace and Nickelback.

As punk was defined more by an attitude and an ethos than a particular style of music, so is alternative rock. That ethos is bands joining together all over America to make bland, passionless insincere rock music with lyrics about depression and breakups to cash in on teenage angst and stupidity.

Listening to alternative rock past high school is good indicator of a mental disability

No White after Labor Day

Rule of thumb(for girls only) starting the holiday of "Labor Day". You arn't allowed to date/mess around with anyone of the caucasian race until memorial day of the next summer. (can be used for anyone of any racial background)
Also known as "out of season"

kindof like when you see a girl wearing white pants in mid October...you think to yourself.."What the hell is she thinking out in public like that?!?! "

Dude camilla...did you see that girl? She totally broke the "No white after labor day Rule"...I'd never been seen with a guy of that "shade" after Labor Day.
"Tell that guy that you will give him a call when summer starts..its way past his "season."
