The Sort

A socioeconomic phenomenon where highly intelligent and educated individuals are increasingly funneled into high-paying jobs, while those with less education or intelligence are "sorted" into lower-paying roles. This process amplifies class divides and concentrates wealth and opportunity among a cognitive and academic elite.

The term is often used on Tech Twitter/TPOT/the Tech Right.

Also called "the Great Sort", or "the Great Sorting"

I know the Sort happened but its nice to imagine a world where lots of manual laborers have 115+ IQs

A way of letting people know that you have completed a task, or a way of giving thanks to someone for completing a task.

Tom: “Grace I’ll send you the homework if you turn your AirDrop on”

Grace: “I’ve turned it on”

Sort This Out

This is what a friend says when he wants to fix his group back together. Though since 90% of the world is dumb, his friends might say ok...? after it not knowing how much that makes the guy want to come over there and punch him in the balls

“I’m gonna sort this situation out , it might take a few days, though.”

“Huh? What does sort this out mean”
“It means I’m going to fix everything.”
