It can also cause a muscle in your heart to tear causing weaker pulse

Heartbreak

Heartbreak isn't really your heart breaking, it feels more like a sting or a punch. It can be hard to hide when all you want to do is cry. It could be caused by an event, news, words someone said, etc. You never really feel anything break until later. All you feel in the moment is a sharp pain that shoots from your heart to everywhere in your body.

This leads person to fall hard for then then they back away. This might be because of some kind of commitment issues. They are are independent in some way and don't want to need anyone.They can usually do this without having sex with anyone. They are just a tease.
