Heartbreak

Heartbreak isn't really your heart breaking, it feels more like a sting or a punch. It can be hard to hide when all you want to do is cry. It could be caused by an event, news, words someone said, etc. You never really feel anything break until later. All you feel in the moment is a sharp pain that shoots from your heart to everywhere in your body.

heartbreak is watching the person you love slowly fall in love with someone else. heartbreak is scrolling through old messages at 2 in the morning, crying. heartbreak is icecream and watching your comfort show and letters you never posted. heartbreak is that feeling when you know you'll never get what you gave. heartbreak is "Not delivered!" or one tick or "Read." heartbreak is when you can't stop the worst from happening even when you know it'll happen. heartbreak is not feeling good enough, heartbreak is not feeling anything and heartbreak is losing what matters. heartbreak is what i'm going through but heartbreak is something to be healed, heartbreak is something that can be fixed if you keep pushing.
