The word was first coined in about 1970 at the Bluebell Railway when a group of hard-core railway enthusiasts arrived one cold December afternoon to look around. In a removals van with the company name G.Ricer on the side.
It has since moved on in certain circles to apply to fans of other forms of transport eg Busses

grackle

For those living in the British Isles, grackles are groups of tourists. Grackles typically pour out of busses onto streets, blocking regular foot traffic and creating a general nuisance. Ironically, the more a city complains about grackles, the more it probably needs grackle tourism money to stay out of bankruptcy. Typically, one can find grackles flocking outside of major historical landmarks and international fast food chains. Grackles come from all continents. It took me 45 minutes just to walk down Cornmarket Street because of all the grackles waiting to get into McDonalds.

an unpopular slang term for poop, shit, etc. Generally used to describe more slippery, wet, mushy poop

“NICHOLAS! What the hell is this in the toilet? Why is it all slippery?”

To get left at the bar. Either on purpose or by accident. Mostly due to excessive alcohol intake or because the individual thinks he/she will be able to score with a member of the opposite sex.

Bryan got Glicked at the bar last night because he thought he was going to hook up with that girl.
