A word often used to describe dangerous dog breeds such as Bullterriers (Pitbull, Stafford) and Mastiffs (Rottweiler, Dogo Argentino, Boerboel) because they tend to have large jaws, sharp teeth and muscular bodies, which goes with the ability to severely injure and kill other humans and animals.

"My crappy neighbour recently bought an American Pitbull Terrier, the jaw was so huge that it reminded me of some kind of land shark. I heard they kill more people than all other breeds combined!"

Shark Tank 

A literal shark tank, in the second James Bond book that Ian Fleming wrote -- "Live and Let Die", published in 1954. (I don't know if it's in the movie, which I never saw, but I know it's quite different from the book.)

Sharks are amazing creatures that have gills, cartilage, and a sixth sense. People have misunderstood sharks ever since it ate a human. The sharks will mistake you with a seal or other small sharks.

When you look at sharks at a different angle your life will change.

Tiger Shark 

it looks like a tiger, which makes it cool. it also will eat anything from tires to entire knight suits. they can get up to 20 to 25 feet long. when they get older their stripes disappear. these guys are some of the most aggressive sharks around. be careful around them as they can be found in shallow waters
