A theory about what happens after death. According to this theory, when a person dies, they are not judged by a god or higher power, but by an ancient scroll that falls from the darkness. The scroll contains every action they’ve ever taken good and bad and the soul is forced to relive all their mistakes and moments of cruelty. If they lived with kindness, they fade away peacefully. But if they lived selfishly or hurt others, they are trapped forever, endlessly reliving their wrongdoings in a cycle of regret.

You and two friends decide to go out to eat for lunch, only one of you brought a card so you all agree to venmo the one who brought it after you eat as none of you brought any cash either.
You want to get some pizza, and your two friends want to eat human shit sandwiches, you decide to put it to a democratic vote because that’s obviously the most fair right?
You obviously lose and you have to eat the shit sandwich, sucks doesn’t it?
How could this have been avoided?
Simple, you make your vote worth 2, this forces an even tie and forces the shit sandwich twins (you should probably stop hanging out with them btw) to compromise, you all end up agreeing on burgers and you eat in relative peace
Now apply this logic to the electoral college, and you understand why the Montana Wheat farmer or the Wyoming cattle rancher’s state gets to have as much of a say as California or New York

Get the Rhinebaque Theorymug. The Earth is small. Our bodies and vision are smaller. Every second the universe expands and creates new stars, new galaxies, new planets, and new solar systems. With us sharing the same time and space with the universe we are one and connected. Ever since the the supernova that created our solar system and most of the elements that created our periodic table and that includes the elements that create our body. In short we are created by the fragments of a star. As our body ages throughout our lives we grow weaker and weaker. But, the universe is forever expanding. Expanding into what? Well we will never know the true answers to the universe. If the universe is what holds all of creation and all of space and time what is the universe expanding into. The best possible guess is, nothingness. The universe is expanding into a vast empty space of nothingness, no age, no color, no dark, no light. IF we were able to cross the border between space and nothingness what would happen. There are two (probably more) possible outcomes.
1. We cease of age , since we are no longer connected to the space and time of our universe we are nothing and cease of age and pain.
2. We cease to exist, when your are across the border of our universe and nothingness, since the existence of nothingness is there we escape our own existence as well. Your body, and even your own soul will cease to ever exist.
