Nobody knows what emo is.

Ive seen people who are depressed get called emo. If i could choose what emo is, it would be a depressed kid, but theres a whole lot of stuff on here saying that its about music and people that cut themselves and wear black. So, I dont think anybody really knows what it is.

I agree with the things that say that being a non-conformist is being emo now.

Being different is being the same.

what emo simply means is emotianal.
people who ar emo (like me) arnt afraid to express ourselves in what we were.

the typical emo is really nice but you can come across nasty one. they have mood swings & they like rock.

Emo

The worlds biggest group of whiny emotional pinpricks that never shut up about how much their life sucks, then they drive away in their Benz with My Chemical Romance blaring and start wailing along to the music.

The natural enemy of Metalheads, Goths and regular people.

(Take into account that some emo chicks are hot and just dress as emo. if you see an emo chick, ask a question, and if the words, life, sucks, misery or unfair come up, then RUN LIKE A MOFO!)

Emo Tiny guy with skinny jeans and a duplicate you later find out to be a girl walk down a street.

*sniff* my life sucks so much, its all their fault.

An extremely annoying label for kids who do nothing but sulk about their life for attention and sympathy. (:

Emo

Emo means 'emotional.'
It does NOT mean that the person cuts themself;
they might, but lets not jump to conclusions.

Emo is also a genre of music. Also, Punk.

For example:

-Amber Pacific
-Cute Is What We Aim For
-My Chemical Romance
-Mayday Parade
-Taking Back Sunday
-Panic! At The Disco
-Paramore
etc.

Personallly, I like them all (:

-People who take pictures of themselves and put 'emo' as the caption are called 'posers.'

-Posers are people who act emo to be cool

or to be in the social scene as emo,
they only want attention.

-Emo people do not complain about EVERYTHING and they are not LONERS.

-When people cut their wrists it normally happens as a teenager and it will not happen as an adult, the person usually grows up and realizes they shouldn't be hurting themselves because of someone else.
