Bat

Alternative form of "cat" in Blood gangs' nomenclature practice by replacing the "c" (and sometimes a "k"), most associated with the opposing gang of Bloods—the Crips, with a "b" from the name of the Bloods gang, to show opposition and distaste to the Crips.

One example of a Blood gang member replacing the "c" with a "b" to represent their gang is YG, a popular rapper from the West coast and blood gang member, with his song "Bicken Back Being Bool." The original phrase being "kicking back being cool", but in this case the "k" of "kick(en'/ing)" and "c" of "cool" were replacing with a "b" to show gang association with the Bloods.

Blood 1: Nah, he good, he's a cool cat.
Blood 2: You mean a bat?
Blood 1: *pauses* you right... he's a bool bat.
Blood 2: Amen

Term in the goth community (as well as its subcultures) for someone (typically a woman) dressing in traditionally goth attire that is a brunette. It is sometimes used to describe someone presenting goth that keeps their natural hair color.

I had started to get into goth fashion and wanted to dye my hair, but I figured I’d keep it natural to go with the brown bat vibe.

A portmanteau, crazy word describing a middle state between stir crazy (distraught from confinement) and bat-sh*t crazy (complete state of insanity). This is most commonly used past the hours of midnight. The term was coined in the 2020 pandemic.
This is the superior term over any of the aforementioned expressions.

It is gremlin hours and I am going stir-bat crazy.

devil winged bat

A devil winged bat is like a night howler somebody whose eyes are as big and is dilated as possible who is constantly following you around like a little devil on your shoulder who has wings and can fly from one side of the room to the other and turn off every light right behind you without you seeing them and in front of you without you seeing them to close you in and cleans up and picks up everything you put down and try to come back to it before you even get to get back to it or you can see it and it's gone.
