A well known individual on the Emerson College Campus. Unlike other schools where sports players hold the strongest popularity, a different set of students become popular at Emerson.
Em-Celebs typically are involved in multiple on-campus organizations and reach many social circles. Their social media stories consistently promote shows, clubs, Greek life, and creative projects they’re working on.
They’re always in-the-know about social events and constantly get stopped on the street to engage in small talk.
Just like a real celebrity, Em-celebs are rarely seen alone on campus due to their social breadth.

He came back from the Quidditch Team party and is getting ready for a BFA Film Wrap Party later in the night. Tomorrow, his group of friends are all hosting a Dorm party in Piano Row of 30 people. What an Em-Celeb!

A Vietnamese phrase similar to “Hello?” or “Excuse me?” in British English. Can be said as a means of calling the attention of someone younger than you.
Anh and Ha sat in a restaurant
Ha: I’m starving. Where’s that waiter got to?
Anh: Let me check. Em oi!
Waiter: What do you want?
