A catchy phrase, sentence, or idea that usually occurs at the beginning of something, designed to draw people in. Example: "What can you learn from a one-year-old? If that one-year-old is Martha, your guide and expert through this training experience, quite a lot!"

A woman who attempts to lay in bed with you unintentionally providing no pleasure. Ultimately, leading too a long thought conversation of mentals.
I wanted a hook leg after she finessed a position in my bed.
Instead, we just lay'd still.
Listening to each other breath.
Thinking about it for the longest.

Used in Southern Canadian cities such as Toronto to refer to a fresh one-liner or half-bar from the start of a song. Especially when the chorus forms the hook or contains the title of the song and is used ironically to ridicule someone.
"You saying you 'Started from the bottom' fam? Now you just poor over there too!"
A heckler in the crowd: "Ohh! He hit you with that fresh hook!"

A hook installed on the inside of a men’s bathroom door used to hang one shirt while shitting. By taking off your shirt and hanging it on the Ryno hook, you ensure not getting shit on your shirt, thus avoiding having to explain those horrible brown stains on the back of your shirts
“Dude, I need to shit, but I’m afraid I’ll shit on my shirt!”
“ Just use the Ryno hook and let it rip”
