When a character In a show, musical, play, book, movie, etc. is mentioned or seen for a very short period of time, having nearly no impact on the story, but is generally either loved or hated by the entire fandom. Named after Peggy Schuyler, a character from the musical Hamilton.
Because Peggy Schuyler only shows up in one song, yet is seen as an “UwU sawft cinnamon roll” and the majority of the fandom loves her, she is a prime example of The Peggy Effect.

The opposite of a Karen. The older white neighbor who maybe doesn't really get your music, but is happy to collect your mail for you while you're on tour. She might politely ask you to turn down your music if it's a little too loud, but she wouldn't for a minute get the police involved.

A Haligonian variant on "Karen"; a pejorative term for a white woman perceived as entitled or demanding beyond the scope of what is normal. The term is often portrayed in memes depicting entitled women from Halifax who use their privilege to demand their own way.
