When two ex-lovers become stuck, catch, seize (up), become immobilized, become unable to move, become fixed, become wedged, become lodged, or become trapped in a state of unknown perpetual motion.

Those two use to be a thing in the past, now they just be jamming.

In Roller Derby, a jam is the two minute time period in which both teams try to score points against the opposing team by circling the trackin packs and moving their jammer past the opposing blockers. The jammer scores a point each time her hips pass an opposing blocker. The lead jammer can call off the jam by repeatedly putting her hands on her hips.

The lead jammer scored 12 points before she called off the jam.

A popular term used to refer to any interaction, often romantic, between Jim Halpert and Pam Beesly of the U.S. version of the television show The Office. Created by combining the first names of the two characters.

"There definitely wasn't enough Jam in that episode tonight."
