If you use swear words on the Chris Gethard's Beautiful Anonymous show, you must say "Sorry, Sally". Sally is the name of Chris Gethard's mom who abhors swear words. However, the phrase has gone far outside of its original realm, and now widely used by many people as the modern version of "pardon my French".

To apologise insincerely to appease someone in the short term, in the way that a dog will look submissive while being scolded but will repeat the same behaviour again once their owner has gone.
I sent a complaint and they wrote back with an apology, but they were just dog sorry as it happened again a week later!

A sarcastic way of saying sorry, when you really don't mean it, and everyone knows that you don't mean it. More effective when said in a sweet, high-pitched voice and accompanied by a shrug and a smile.
